Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of SellDodo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
SellDodo provides an AI agent that answers your customers in connected social channels, sells from the catalog and policies you provide, and orchestrates payment collection to your own payment accounts. We provide the software; you run your shop.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and use SellDodo for a business. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Members you invite act within your workspace.
Subscription and billing
SellDodo is a paid subscription billed through our processor (Dodo Payments). Fees are charged in advance and recur until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Payments are orchestrate-only
SellDodo never holds, receives, or disburses your sales proceeds. When the agent collects a payment, the funds settle directly to YOUR own Bakong or Stripe account; you are the merchant of record for every sale. You are solely responsible for order fulfilment, refunds, taxes, chargebacks, and compliance with your payment providers’ rules.
The AI agent
The agent is automated and its replies are generated by AI. While we ground it in your catalog and policies, it can still make mistakes. You control its autonomy: you can require your approval before it takes payments, gives discounts, or issues refunds. You are responsible for the settings you choose and for reviewing the agent’s behavior. Where a platform or the law requires it, disclose to customers that they are talking to an automated agent.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the rules of every channel you connect (including Meta, WhatsApp, and Telegram platform policies, messaging-window limits, and consent requirements for outbound messages).
- Comply with consumer-protection, advertising, privacy, and tax law that applies to your business.
- Keep your catalog, prices, and policies accurate.
- Do not sell prohibited or illegal goods, and do not use SellDodo to send spam or unlawful, deceptive, or abusive messages.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to break its security, resell it without permission, or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that put our payment or platform relationships at risk.
Intellectual property
You keep ownership of your content (catalog, brand, conversations). We keep ownership of the SellDodo platform. You grant us the permissions needed to operate the service for you.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the agent will be error-free, that every message or payment will succeed, or that sales results will meet your expectations. Third-party platforms and payment providers are outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SellDodo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost sales, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using SellDodo and close your account anytime. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; the data provisions in our Privacy Policy apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms; we will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
