Privacy Policy
SellDodo is an AI sales agent that answers your customers in social DMs, sells from your catalog, and helps collect payment to your own account. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have over it.
Who we are
SellDodo (“SellDodo”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Cobra Trading Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Reach us at support@selldodo.com.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: your email and, if you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile.
- Connected channels: when you connect WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger or Telegram, we store the access tokens that platform issues plus the account name and id. Tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Your business data: your catalog, prices, policies, knowledge, brand voice, and agent settings.
- Conversations and contacts: the messages your customers send your connected channels, the replies the agent sends, and details a customer shares (name, channel id, and what they tell the agent).
- Orders: what was sold and the payment status. Payments are processed on your OWN Bakong or Stripe account; SellDodo never holds your funds and never sees full card numbers.
- SellDodo billing: your subscription status and plan, handled by our processor (Dodo Payments).
- Usage and technical data: logs, device/browser information, and analytics needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run your Closer: read incoming DMs, answer using your catalog and knowledge, and create checkouts when a customer agrees to buy.
- To provide the CRM, inbox, orders, and reports.
- To run your account, process your subscription, and provide support.
- To keep the service secure and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your conversations or business data for advertising.
AI processing
Your Closer’s replies are generated by large language models through our AI provider (OpenRouter). We ground the agent in your catalog and policies through software tools rather than the model’s memory, but automated replies can still contain errors; you control what the agent may do on its own versus what it holds for your approval. Disclose the use of an automated agent to your customers where the law or a platform requires it.
Your customers’ data (your responsibility)
For the messages and contacts of your end customers, you are the data controller and SellDodo is your processor: we handle that data on your behalf to provide the service. You are responsible for giving your customers a privacy notice, having a lawful basis to message them, and following each channel’s rules (including consent and messaging-window requirements).
Who we share it with
We use a small set of trusted providers that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase - database and authentication.
- Vercel - application hosting.
- OpenRouter - AI model inference for the agent’s replies.
- Dodo Payments - SellDodo subscription billing.
- The channels and payment providers you connect (such as Meta, Telegram, Bakong, and Stripe) - we exchange data with them, at your instruction, to receive messages, send replies, and collect payment to your own account.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and the service.
How we protect it
Channel and payment tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Every workspace’s data is isolated by row-level security so one account cannot read another’s. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and business data while your account is active. When you disconnect a channel, we delete its stored tokens. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except limited records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Deleting your data
Disconnect a channel to remove its tokens, or close your account to remove your data. You may also request full deletion any time by emailing support@selldodo.com with the subject “Delete my data”, and we will confirm once it is done.
Cookies
We use cookies necessary to keep you signed in and run the service, plus limited analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
SellDodo is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
International transfers
We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours, relying on appropriate safeguards as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves; we will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
